I was suppose to run on Saturday, but didn’t and was going to on Sunday, but I didn’t. Then I was going to run yesterday morning, but I didn’t, so yesterday afternoon rolls around and it’s so HOT, but I haven’t run in three days. What sort of training can go without for three days and still be effective? So, finally around 6PM I got my act together and Lexi and I headed out into the heat. Luckily we ran in shadows for about half the time, but it was still HOT. Lexi couldn’t keep up, she mainly ran behind me, slowing me down sometimes. And I really wasn’t running that fast and stopped before my 90 seconds was up most of the time, so what did I learn? Don’t take days off….makes going back harder. Wake up and run in the morning…..it’s much cooler. 🙂
