Hi Susie! How are things going? I tried to get your brothers to come with me to Youth Church tomorrow, but they are going to the cabin, but Roger said that they would plan on coming next week. It looks like it will be really cool. Well, this is just a reminder to come and pick me up at the lightrail station at Broadway and I-25 at 10:00AM. I look forward to seeing you. I hope you know what you want to do, because I don’t really care. See you soon.

Hi Rachel!!

It was great to hear from you, I was thinking about you the other day. And how much I enjoyed my time in Wales. It’s good to hear your having fun, while going to college. I was very stressed my first couple of weeks, but I’m really starting to enjoy myself. I’ve made a lot of new friends and that is really cool. They are people I don’t think I would have been friends with in high school. I heard that everyone who came over here had a lot of fun. I wish I could have seen them, but it didn’t work out. How’s Matthew? I noticed you didn’t mention him in your e-mail. Is everything okay? Well, I’ve got to get back to my homework. Hope to hear from you soon.

Your Friend,
Jennifer

Hi Alan! Thanks for the postcard! Your city is much different than Denver. I just heard from Stewart today. Have you been keeping in touch with him? I’ve e-mailed him and I drive by the school every other day, but I haven’t seen him. I feel so lost. I’d gone to school with pretty much the same people for 13 years and it’s so strange not to see their faces and to not know where they’ve gone. It’s just a really strange feeling. I think it would be a lot different if I hadn’t been here for so long. I am starting to make friends at school now. It’s good. I’m even trying to get involved in a club, we’ll see how that works. Some people talked me into going, even though I don’t really want to, but I decided it’s better than waiting for the bus for an hour and it’s a good way to meet people. Well, I’ll talk to you later. Let me know what’s going on in your life.

Well, I guess you’ve realized by now that I didn’t come by this morning.  I was so tired and I couldn’t get out of bed.  Then I rushed around the house trying to remember everything and get tot the bus on time.  I made it to the bus, but I did forget somethings.  So much for the perfect me.  Anyway, I’ll just have to tell you what’s happening and nag you over the Internet (I don’t think the nagging thing will work too well though).  You asked about my “new boyfriend” and I’m proud to say that none of the good-looking guys from school have gotten to me.  I’ve found some major problem in all of them. :o)  But…I am going to Wisconsin for Jeremy’s birthday and for New Years.  Well I need to get to bed.  I’ll talk to you later.  Oh by the way (my nagging part) I”m very disappointed in how long it took you to respond to my last e-mail.  At this rate, you’ll be so lost in what’s happening in my life, I’ll never be able to get you caught up!!! :o)

Hi Tammy! I’m sorry I haven’t written in so long. I guess I’ve been busy, although not really too busy. I seem to spend most of my time reading for school. I’m such a slow reader and it takes me forever. So whenever I’m not at work or at school, I’m reading. Next week I have a test and two essays due, if I can get those done I can just forget about all the stuff I’m behind in and start over. I hate being behind. I spent all last weekend trying to get caught up, but it didn’t work. Oh well, I guess it’s a part of life. We all need something to stress over or life would just be too easy. So how are things with you? Any news about you coming back? I miss you so, but I tell you every time I write you. Can you tell I love ya? Well, I have one story for you and then I’ll go. Two days ago my professor came up to me and asked me to inform the rest of the class that he wasn’t going to be there so we wouldn’t be having class. It was so sad, seven of us just sat in the hall and talked for a whole hour. We had nothing else to do, but it was fun. I got to know a lot of people I hadn’t talked to before and now we actually talk instead of just staring at each other. Well, there is this one guy, his name is Leaf, and he kept talking to me and asking me questions and stuff. We were talking about church and found out that we both go to churches over by Columbine. Then as we were leaving for our next classes he asked me if I would like to go to youth group (his college group with 70 people in it). I stalled, and he never mentioned it again. :o) You thought that you were going to get a really great story didn’t you? Sorry, but I just have a problem flirting with guys. I always seem to put up some barrier and thus the exciting story turns into a very sad attempt to make you laugh! Hope you have a great day. I’ll hear from you soon.

Beth~

It was so good to hear from you. I do have a new e-mail address, but sometimes I don’t get the messages sent to me, but my other account won’t let us connect or send anything, so I don’t have many options right now. My new e-mail is ……… make sure the E is capital or it has no chance of working. I’m sure Jeremy remembers you, he has a really good memory and I asked him and he says he doesn, so…I think that sentence had too many ands in it, but that’s okay, you’ll forgive me right? I remember writing you last, but I really can’t remember what I wrote, so if I repeat some things please forgive me. My foot is doing a lot better. It bothers me sometimes, but I just ignore it and go on. I wasn’t healed by the time it was suppose to be, so I started to baby it. Then I went to the doctor and she said to stop babying it and if it hurts just take some aspirin and go and do what you want. So, I’ve been trying to do that. I’m going to Metropolitan State College of Denver, so I get to stay at home and keep my job. So far it hasn’t been much different from high school. I’ve run into a few people I went to high school with, but I haven’t talked to them. I didn’t really know any of the people I see, I just had a class with them. So how do you like ORU? Are you living in the dorms? How do you like your roommate? We have some old family friends whose backyard is ORU. I haven’t seen them in years. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Dennis! Not much is really happening there. It’s been cold the last couple of days, but it is suppose to be warmer tomorrow (75 degrees). Mom is keeping busy at work and so is Dad. Stacy is definitely becoming a teenage. She is always on the phone and always talking to a boy. To our knowledge she doesn’t have a boyfriend yet and there aren’t any prospects, so she should stay out of trouble for a while. Dad says I can’t get into trouble because my boyfriend lives in Wisconsin. I’m so excited because I get to go and visit him for his birthday and New Years, but that seems like forever away. College is okay. I feel like I’m always behind and can never get caught up in my reading, but I think I’m doing pretty good for my first semester. Well, I got to go….homework calls.

I don’t have much time, but I wanted to tell you I got an A on my first paper essay in English. I really didn’t think I would do that well. Well, I’ve got to get to work. I’ll write you later and tell you more of what’s been happening. How did having the Welsh here go?

Hey Ali! Sorry I didn’t respond. I didn’t realize that you had written back to me. I guess I was doing too many things at once. That’s really cool that your friends still go to your school. I never really had any friends at my old school and I really don’t at college. I hope to start making some soon and I think I will. Most of my classes have about 15 people in them and most of those people are in all my classes, so it shouldn’t be hard to get to know people. Well, I need to get back to my essay. Talk to you later.

Love,

Jenn

Hey there! I haven’t really been doing anything fun since I’ve been in school. It’s really a lot of work. In fact I should probably be working on my homework right now, but I seem to be finding every possible way to get out of it. Today was a holiday so my parents didn’t work and my sister and I didn’t have to go to school. I tried to get some work done, but I ended up just hanging out with my family. I have to go to work tomorrow and I don’t really want to. I work 11 hours a day and it’s really tiring, but it’s nice to have the extra money. I guess it’s not really extra, it pays for my car and lunch and stuff like that. I also bought a new computer and a plane ticket. I’m hoping to save enough money so that I can go to Australia in March, but if I keep spending my money like this, it’s not going to work. I decided to go up to Wisconsin in December to visit a friend. I’m really excited, because I’ve never been up there. I love going new places. It’s always so exciting. I hope you’re feeling better today. How’s your eye doing? Well I need to get going.
